2016

Happy New Year!

I've been busy in the studio working on Spring prints for the upcoming trade shows in January. Below are some of my sketches for mixed bohemian prints and paisleys. It's refreshing to approach the new year with a similar routine and not feeling the need to change much. 2015 was definitely a rollercoaster in many ways but I'm so proud of how far I've come with difference freelance client, starting my new job at Lucky Brand and all the adventures and friends I've made along the way. I guess I just hope in 2016 to have more to offer my clients on my site (surprises to come!) and to keep growing throughout the journey.

If you haven't heard of the Textile Design Lab from Pattern Observer I defintiely reccommend! I got a few months for Christmas and it's really incredible. Michelle Fifis has really gone out of her way to help other designers by compiling workshops and resources for every aspect of Textile Design and, only two days in, I am overwhelemd with new information.
